Privacy Policy
The short version: this is a simple brochure website. No analytics, no tracking cookies, no login, no payments, and nothing of yours stored on a server we own.
Last updated: 19 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit Swayambhu Pets (“Swayambhu Pets”, “we”, “us”, “our”), the small dog and cat boarding and training sanctuary behind the website swayambhupets.com (the “Site”). We have kept this Site deliberately simple, and we have tried to keep this policy just as plain. It does not run analytics, does not set its own tracking cookies, has no login, no shopping cart and no payment system, and it does not store your details on any server we own. Most enquiries reach us through WhatsApp.
1. Who we are
We are a small, owner-run pet boarding and training business based in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, India. The person responsible for this Site and for answering any questions about your information is:
- Business / legal name: Swayambhu Pets
- Address: 434, Mumbai–Nashik Expressway, Ovali, Pimpalas, Bhiwandi, Maharashtra 421302
- Contact for any privacy question or complaint: hello [at] swayambhupets [dot] com (you can also reach us on WhatsApp at +91 98673 13292)
2. The information we do — and don’t — collect
Through the website itself, we collect almost nothing. The Site is a set of static pages. There is no account to create, nothing to log in to, no payment to make, and no database sitting behind it that quietly saves what you do. We do not use Google Analytics, the Meta/Facebook pixel, Hotjar or any other analytics or tracking tool, and we do not set our own advertising or tracking cookies.
When you use the enquiry form, the details you type (such as your name, phone number, your pet and what you are interested in) are not sent to us through a server we control. Instead, the form simply opens WhatsApp with your message pre-filled, so you can review it and send it to us yourself. That means your message travels to us through WhatsApp (owned by Meta), under WhatsApp’s and Meta’s own privacy terms, and we receive it in our WhatsApp chat. You can read their policies here: WhatsApp and Meta.
If you instead call us, email us, or message us on Instagram, we receive that information directly the same way any small business does, and we use it only to reply to you and to help with your enquiry, booking or your pet’s stay.
3. What we do with what you send us
We use the details you share only to:
- reply to your enquiry and answer your questions;
- arrange a visit, a training programme or a boarding stay; and
- look after your pet properly during a stay (for example, noting medical or dietary needs you tell us about).
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may keep your messages and booking notes for as long as we reasonably need them to provide our services and keep ordinary business records.
4. Third-party content that loads on the Site
To keep the Site looking good and useful, a few pieces of content are loaded from other companies. When that content loads, those companies can see your device’s IP address and may set their own cookies — this is their processing, not ours, and we cannot control it. They are:
- Google Maps — our Contact page shows an embedded Google map, and our footer has a “directions” link to Google Maps. When the map loads, Google can see your IP address and may set its own cookies. See Google’s policy.
- YouTube — our training videos are embedded using YouTube’s privacy-friendly youtube-nocookie.com option, and they only load after you click play. Until you choose to watch a video, YouTube sets nothing. If you do play one, YouTube/Google may then set cookies and see your IP.
The Site also has ordinary outbound links — to WhatsApp, Instagram, a phone dialler and an email address. Once you follow one of those links, you are on that other service and its own terms and privacy policy apply.
5. Cookies
The Site does not set its own cookies for tracking or analytics. The fonts are served from our own site, so they set nothing. The only cookies that may appear are those that the third parties above (Google Maps, or YouTube if you press play) choose to set. You can control or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, and you can block third-party cookies if you prefer.
6. Your choices and your rights
You are always free to contact us by phone, WhatsApp or in person instead of using any online feature. If you have shared information with us and would like to know what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, please write to us at hello [at] swayambhupets [dot] com and we will help.
India’s data-protection law is changing: the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its 2025 Rules introduce stronger rights and notice and consent requirements, whose main obligations take effect on 14 May 2027. We will update this policy and our practices to meet those requirements as they come into force. In the meantime we aim to handle your information honestly and carefully, consistent with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
7. Keeping information safe
Because the Site holds no database and stores nothing on a server we own, there is very little to expose on the website side. The information you do send us (over WhatsApp, email or phone) we keep with reasonable care and share only with the small number of people who help run the sanctuary and care for your pet.
8. Children
This is a Site for pet owners and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children through the Site.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Please check back occasionally.
